Alright fa/g/s time for a day 1 mini-review of my new Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Battery life is great, I set uo and downloaded all my apps, watched youtube for hours on the big screen and woke up with a 20% left from 65%. It charged to 80% on my 25 minute commute to work.

The speakers are much nicer than my previous phone, very clear and loud.

The only "downside" I'll mention is that the screens are not as nice as Samsung's, at least in my house, could be a brightness thing. Stay tuned for more.

Privacy display requires that half the subpixels are gimped with a black ring around it which reduces the area of light emitting pixels on the screen which causes it to look grainier and dirtier than regular oleds. Some users report that it looks like Samsung is using some sort of sharpening filter to try to gain back the clarity of regular oleds
This permanently worsens viewing angles slightly regardless of whether privacy display is on or off, but it's not a huge deal using it in person when I tested it at the store.
What's more concerning is that Samsung is faking 10bit colors with dithering and that the aforementioned ring around the privacy subpixels can cause bad migraines for a small percentage of the population
