If I use Firefox under Windows, I get the easy captcha. If I use Firefox under Linux, I get the sixty second delay, the annoying captcha, and 90% of the time told there's an ip range ban. Seems like identifying as Linux gets your activity marked as suspicious. Wouldn't be surprised if that happens on lots of sites so many Linux users end up changing their useragent to hide their real OS.
