Surely this is unsustainable.
What will happen when Anthropic and others start charging the actual price of their service? It's going to cost more to make code with AI than by hand at that point.
Will companies just self host open source models?

Bailing out AI companies would eventually kill them anyway, since nobody wants to invest in a company that requires bailouts to survive, and they all only get by on debt and burning investor money right now.
