Do you guys use 100% scale and 100% zoom on your monitors past 1080p?
I got a 1440p 27' and I lowkey think I either need glasses or have to use 130% zoom/scale.
>>
They'll call me poor but I prefer a smaller monitor, so I can get away with 100%. 1080p at 15.6" and 24" are great for most tasks. My photo editing PC is a 4k screen so I need like 250% scaling. Not sure what's on my Odyssey G8 gaming monitor, but it seldom matters with how crisp and detailed it is.

1440p @ 27" = 108 PPI.
I need glasses and I run 1440p 25" = 117 PPI at 100% without issues.
You might have a problem.

>1080p at 15.6" = 141 PPI
Comfy.
>and 24" = 92 PPI
I had a monitor like that once and it was awful.

GUI scaling made it so that I couldn’t launch the master chief collection, so I just increased text size and icon size. I want to say around 130% like you.
>>
>>108468981
I do 100% scaling on 1440p 27" and it's absolutely perfect.
>>
>>108468981
I changed scaling once in windows and it fucked up everything, could not fully reset the settings without doing a system restore
>>
>>108468981
Depends on how far the screen is
>>
>>108468981
I’m used to mashing command-= to bump up the font size in things
But you might need glasses and-or start to print-push
You can also get a 4K 27" monitor — 4K is just right for 24", but everything is big but crisp at 27"
>>
>>108471321
Oh, and at 4K, you’re using 200% scaling
Non-integer scaling is ass
>>

120% window zoom and 200% browser zoom on a 1440p. My eyesight isn't perfect, but I can pass a driving examination without glasses.
>>
>>108468981
I have a 1440p 31" so I can just use 100% scaling
>>
>>108468981
Depends on PPI.
>>
>>108468981
I use 125% scaling on my 1440p 27". Yeah it's too tiny otherwise. It's not that I can't read it at 100%, it's just not comfortable.
>>
Yes, that's a font size issue
