How come Chinese ai video generators are so much better than OpenAI and their unlimited funds?

theyre not, china is just better at propaganda

You've heard of Actually Indians, now here's Actually Chinks

Why did they make Israel into squids? Are squids known to be greedy and deceitful in China?
>>
>>108471932
Western countries know how to create the first generation of new technologies, but at a mediocre quality standard and a very high cost. The chinese excel at taking something established and optimising for cost while making obvious improvements that western people were too proud or too lazy to bother with

Correct
>while making obvious improvements
Uh... You should visit China some time...
>>
>>108471932
Probably because they're not afraid to let companies do nightmarish shit in the pursuit of profit. Open AI probably spent half their budget and research on how to do things ethically.
>>
>>108472400
>ethically
Openai did the exact opposite lol

AC? That's pretty cool.
>>
>>108472406
Doesn't say they succeeded. Just that that's certainly where all their time and effort went.
>>
>>108472302
kek this. China was cool but it's so obvious none of these nerds have ever been on the ground there to see what optimizing for cost looks like. Sometimes it's great and they build some cool shit. But sometimes that cool shit is next door to the most run down shit shack you've ever seen held together by the local Uncle doing a backyard welding job to keep the building from crumbling.
I'm convinced they will never go just because you need to apply for a visa to go to China but you should. Great country, just not as great as you think. I'd rate it a high C- in terms of quality. You can buy luxury if you've got first world money for pretty cheap but that luxury is a facade.

Which AI? I want to make some (free) vids
>>
>>108471932
How is it better exactly? Or do you think you can type "make me a 5 minute long propaganda movie" into a chinese black box and it will give you this? Of course, if you edit shit first, you can make something half-decent. There is a whole Charlie Kirk and Epstein cinematic universe that started before this chink shit was even a thing.

both of the videos you provided are cringe as fuck, this is shockingly embarrassing to watch. You enjoy this slop?
>>
>>108472406
I mean they probably care about their public image to SOME degree. Just imagine how much worse this shit would be if they didn't.
>>
>>108471954
>It's literal chink sitting around saying what everything is
That's like when a company wants you to believe the robot is really interacting with you but it's just some homo with a remote control. It's doing things the hard way until a better way is discovered.
If I understand correctly, you're saying the chinks are directly training AI and as such the training is specific and ultimately leads to less AI "hallucinations".
What I'm saying is if you're aware of it anyone that has any stake in AI is aware of it. Meaning either they've identified deficiencies in that model or have a better method in mind.
>>
>>108472439
>Cool shit
Idk that "cool" is the correct term for their shit.
I think "affordable" shit is more what we're looking at.
Cool shit is available everywhere, it's just expensive as fuck where quality is concerned.
>>
>>108472229
Well they're certainly slimy.
>>
>>108473083
Yes that's exactly what so-called frontier video generation is sadly. Relies heavily on data and labeling cache.
>>
>>108471954
that seems to make sense. and honestly, even prompting image models is a fucking clusterfuck of guess work and vibes. this natural language shit can go fuck itself, i want to be able to prompt specific things and specific layouts and compositions consistantly, not this other faggot shit.

image models don't even know the difference between b and dd cup tits. useless.
>>
>>108473030
they're about on par with marvel and here's why that's a good thing

honestly i'd rather watch those then current year hollywood faggotry.

why do american seethe when chinks steal data but think it's fine when americans steal data?

ByteDance blocked Seedance 2.0 access on CapCut. How do you even access it? Also, it's censored on Doubao

White people aren't creative and can't write at all. Give 100 people the same model, and you'd always have the top 1-2% being able to generate shit better than everybody else. That's why there are "prompt engineers" getting easy 6-figures.

You can give a monkey an EUV machine but he can't make 2nm chips.
