I'm making an analog PID controller using op-amps. I actually built the circuit and connected everything, but on the oscilloscope I only see straight lines, which shouldn't be the case. I'll attach the schematic below – maybe you'll see what I did wrong. Thanks in advance.
>>108471950Where's the system you're controlling?
>>108471968What do you mean?
>>108471950Please for the love of god use net names to connect the opamp supplies instead of this bowl of spaghetti. What input signal are you using?
>>108472038AC motor, Amplitude 1V Frequency 1Hz
>>108472072Connect a scope to the AC supply to make sure you are actually inputting something. If so then just take one of the amplifiers and probe the input pins to make sure they are correct too.Im not familiar with this software but, are you sure you actually executed the simulation?
>>108471950I love how you gave up on ground and connected scope's B C and D to the same thing
>>108471950what kind of output are you expecting though?
Argie EE here...Your adder (summer) is wrong. You need a resistor per input.Vout = −Rf × (V1/R1 + V2/R2 + V3/R3)You just made a short circuit at the output of P, I and D.
