Anyone else find it bizarre how much Linux is being pushed on every tech forum right now? Why are so many linux users invested in making everyone else switch? Furthermore, pushback is often met with brigades of insane insults, and valid critiques are often deleted by moderators. Even on /g/, I've received a ban last month for critiquing linux. You will find the shills always repeating the same lines "enshitification", "respecting your freedoms", "microslop". Perhaps there is truth to these, but in reality, Windows does actually work well enough for most people, improvements are needed for sure, but that solution is not always linux. Sometimes I think a person with one windows problem will have ten more on a linux distro. You will also notice that they have no interest in BSD as an alternative, in fact the BSDs seem to make the rabid penguins even more annoyed than Windows.

I've been on Linux just over a year now. After a month I reformatted all my storage disks to not use NTFS and Windows is completely gone from my PCs.Linux made using my computer fun again. KDE plasma gets meaningful updates that I look forward to
