I had two Octanes and O2s plus purple Indigo 2 and Indy. Octane was used as a daily driver. Still kick myself that I needed to let these go because of life situation etc. Now these are pretty hard and stupidly expensive to come by.

CaseLabs cases were some of the best around for both form and function. The color here is a custom one-off though , but this is one of the only pictures I've seen of a S8 that has the pedestal add-on and the extended 36mm top. I actually have this model with black exterior and white interior, but no pedestal .

Now a LianLi that I owned - the ARMORSUIT P-80! This was back in the day when a LianLi or a Silverstone would be ALL aluminum, not just the fascia on the front. ARMORSUIT was a super tower with a door that hid the fans, as well as a fuckload of 5.25" bays (or a radiator if you so chose).

Speaking of headphones, maybe you guys can help answer something thats been bothering me for years-
I saw a movie ages ago that I think took place in the 70s (80s maybe?), and there's this coked out character in an apartment that had these beautiful metal/chrome studio headphones that had little sliding knobs on one of the earpieces (like an equalizer). They a heavy industrial look to them.
Do you guys know of any headphones like that?

Both at the same time, amazingly enough.
It's 1/5 taller, 1/5 wider, and 2/3 the thickness of a bic lighter, so the despite the pbt plastic, you can tell that you could break it if you threw it really hard, but you'd definitely have to do something on purpose. Tons of features. Crystal clear sound. You can use it to listen to music, wear a wire to a drug deal, record a board room meeting, blackmail someone, record a musical instrument, record phone calls with the line in. There's options.

the model 1 genesis is the most aesthetic console. 2nd place goes to the original playstation.

I really wish I had a model 1 sega CD to go along with the model 1 genny and complete the look, but instead I have a model 2 CD that only looks okay with the model 2 genny, so I keep that hooked up separately.

Silverstone SUGO SG01-E(volution). Excellent little micro(uATX) case. The E revision is pretty much the best one as it has the most features and unlike the later F revision and the SG02, it has a nearly full aluminum body, not just the front panel. This is back in the day when LianLi and Silverstone's mid to high end cases were full aluminum, rather than steel and plastic with some aluminum accents.

I remember that. The sequel to the one I posted was an Android smartphone type but had the same sort of NERV theming. I remember the launcher's skin as well!

I think the most recent Eva collab phone was some Oppo one, but only in China. Looks like Unit 01, pic related. There was also a smartwatch in Asuka / Unit 02 colors and poor Rei / Unit 00 just got wireless earbuds.
>>108490360
As I recall its a proprietary one. I think that Lawnchair is perhaps one of the best FOSS ones with capability on the same level as Nova back in the day and others with 'pro' variations.

Keep considering making a model of a Cray with a Pi Zero in each of the segments but can't really think of any use of a Pi Zero cluster.

i installed lawnchair through i think fdroid and i literally cannot uninstall it. i havent tried adb yet but i dont really care enough yet to try. i was very unimpressed by its features.

>>108490510
ooooo, thatd fit perfectly on a desk or a coffee table. i could see it being the main node in a light homelab, run it as a router/firewall/dns server/media server cache. it wouldnt be powerful at all, but itd be beautiful.
>>
>>108490529
>lawnchair
Can't uninstall? That seems odd. Why can't you uninstall it? Did you use some sort of root mode install et? There's also a different playstore branch that I think conflicts or is limited in some ways because they need to gimp it to go along with PlayStore requirements.

Make sure its the newest branches though. I know there are some on fdroid that are old V1 and V2 branches, where the latest ones are on Lawnchair3's bbase I think, but use numbered builds up to Lawnchair16 (which is in beta - the latest releases are in the 15.x versions)
>>
>>108490809
its version
15.Beta 1
. appinfo is claiming it was downloaded from fennec which is probably what i did. ill probably just nuke it with adb whenever i care enough.

I've seen those PostPet devices on Yahoo auctions and I was interested in picking one up. I didn't know it could run on anything besides the custom software.
(it was probably running CE to begin with, but still)
