Afaik, there's two ways to deal with the charging time problem with phones.
1. More efficient power cell chemistry/circuitry
2. Active cooling during charging.

maybe the problem is you can't put your phone down for 1 hour

1 hour usually gets you to 80, not 100.

Thats why I use a power brick to charge my phone in the freezer. Work harder not smarter sirs. Solutions like this will turn my country into a superpower by 2030.

I want to get the anime girl version but they don't sell it here :(
>>
Heat computation through gas ionization detection is trivial.
>>
Photonic computation?
>>
>active cooling
just get a waterproof phone and do liquid cooling
>>

I care more about longevity, and also we need LAWS to require the ability to replace them.

>charging time problem
LOL. This is only still a problem for Samsung, Google and Apple devices.
My phones have been charging at 60W+ for years now.
12 minutes gives me 60% charge.
>>

You're so smart. Thank goodness you shared your genius with /g/.
Don't worry - we'll get this crucial information about thermodynamics straight to the engineering departments of the trillion dollar companies who design phones.

>how to wreck your battery in 6 months with this one simple trick
Any time I see a chinkphone I know I'm dealing with a double digit IQ spastic.
>>

Do you have even a single piece of evidence that it hurts the battery life?
Because this video would suggest otherwise https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLS5Cg_yNdM
>>
>>108477969
Back in the ancient times, phones had batteries that could be easily snapped in and out. You could swap out a nearlyv dead battery for a fully charged one in seconds.

Why can't we go back to this?
>>
>>108483193
All that proves is Apple's battery management strategy is valid. Those phones aren't charging any 60% in 12 minutes.
>>
>>108477969
The what problem? Just charge the phone at night nigga.
>>
just put it on the charger when you’re asleep wtf how is this a thread. haven’t had battery problems in like 8 years. stop buying chinese garbage.
>>
>>108477969
phones don't have a charging problem. charging can take as long as you sleep
>>
>>108483922
>Those phones aren't charging any 60% in 12 minutes.
Obviously the iPhones can't, but the android phones shown in that test can do 120W charging, which is 0-60% in 8-10minutes.
Unless you can provide a real source for the claim that fast charging degrades your phone battery, then I don't give a fuck about your bullshit and I'm not believing your old wives tale.
One you have a phone that supports 60W+ fast charging and can get you 6hrs of use for 10minutes of charge, you'll understand what you've been missing out on.
>>
>>108483922
hahaha cope
>>
>>108477969
>charging time problem
what
just get a power bank with a decently long cable
>>
>>108485590
NTA, but it is well-documented that lithium-ion batteries degrade faster with fast charging.
>>
>>108477979
What the fuck? 20 minutes get you to 80 on modern phones.
>>
>>108485649
NTA but that's completely debunked with >>108483193
>>
>>108477969
What charging time problem? My phone charges overnight what I sleep, there is no problem, there's plenty of time.
>>
>>108485590
>Unless you can provide a real source
Every battery and power tool mfg in existence. You seriously think DeWalt just doesn't charge their LiPo batteries at max speed every time for no reason? Despite the huge advantage this would give them over in an insanely battery sensitive market? Is it more likely one gook on YouTube fudged his testing methodology?
>>
>>108487144
That is not a definitive source. That is vibes-based logic.
That is exactly equivalent to saying:
>Apple/Samsung/Google doesn't offer 100watt fast charging, you seriously think Apple/Samsung/Google doesn't charge their LiPo batteries at max speed every time for no reason?
>>
>>108489035
>mfg spec sheets are now vibes based logic
It may turn out that the average battery can actually sustain far faster charging than the 6 sigma battery, but I need a lot more than one guy on youtube with slipshod testing methodology. 99% it's the same as every other time chinks tell me something is just as good even better, aka total shit.
>>
What charging problem?
>>
>>108477969
You could just have instant charging time by having hotswappable batteries.
>>
>>108477969
there is no charge problem
