Copers doing shitcode problems when all of us are going to be replaced by AI lmao
>>
>>108478005
Leetcode was retarded before AI tho
>>
>>108478005
>coding
it is a designated street for pajeets now
no actual white man codes anymore.
>>
>>108478005
They aren't beating the stereotypes of being rote memorizers
>>
>>108478005
He will be among those who will fix your messy vibe codings. And yes, Amazing Indians will replace you.
>>
>>108478005
He says he does it "for the love of the game"
And yeah some people just like coding.

I've been coding since I was 12 and didn't start for some financial gain.
It's not a hobby for everyone but plenty of people enjoy it.

SAAAAAR DO NOT REDEEEEM
>>
>>108478099
Aren’t there some Indian parents who make their 5 year old do 2 hours of Leetcode each night?
>>
Now you see the scheme behind LeetCode

>invalidate your high quality American degree and resume
>make a memorizable little math/logic game the be all end all of their decision
>suddenly a bunch of scammily educated Indians get a leg up because they can sit there and just memorize all of the LC top 100
>SORRY SAAR YOUR WHITE CANDIDATE FROM MIT DIDN'T SOLVE ALL 4 OF THE LC QUESTIONS IN 1 HOUR SAAR BUT SANJEET DID
>>
he even has the eyebags like that coomer meme lmao
>>
>>108479229
>memorizing
someone explain this midwit seethe against memorization
yes, learning something is knowing the steps and processes. And having it stored in your memory. Thats how shit works
>>
>>108479338
You don't get it
I've done about 10 interviews in my life and even given interviews.
Do you think overworked programmers are going to spend a lot of time trying to come up with some decent inverview? Lmao, half the interviews I've done were leetcode 101 (literally first few questions on the list). And even when I gave an interview I changed it a bit but it was still basically trivial.
You're more likely to be filtered by the HR questions than the actual interview nowadays...
>>
>>108479377
that anon's statement is wrong, skill is objectively very different from memory
>>
>>108479229
they are forbidden from just issuing IQ tests, aren't they?
>>
>>108478005
companies are still using leetcode as a filter. they are not going to change that.
>>
>>108478005
My work already started testing candidates into prompt engineering instead of leetcode, I love how mad they get after they fail it because they don't know how to make Claude solve the problem properly.
>>
>>108478005
I applied to be an AI-native developer with a lot of experience on it. Guess the first thing I got? Shitcode, not easy, not mediums, but hards.

>>108480820
They're not. I know at least Rokt does IQ tests, but unfortunately they also do Leetcode (so the inclusion of an extra element to filter candidates is more pretentious than helpful), and I'm sure if everyone else also did IQ tests there would be an outcry. Anyways, there's weight to the sentiment that Leetcode exists solely to hire more Indians thru H1b. Indians also aren't the only ones who memorize solutions, Chinese have a forum dedicated to leaking latest Leetcode questions from the top companies. If you know any Chinese who suspiciously got into FAANG right away, well, now you know how they did it. It would be useful as a foreigner, except that they purposely post in riddles that are hard for even natives to decipher, let alone an LLM (Claude Opus can't solve them).
>>
>>108478005
maybe it's just fun?
why don't jeetcoders understand this?
>>
>>108479377

If a company can't even allocate time for its programmers to come up with novel problems to filter out job candidates, then that company wouldn't be a good company to work in.
>>
I haven't interviewed in like 10 years (thank god) - is it still a jerk off leetcode fest or has AI broken that at all? Honestly if interviews got a bit more normal I would probably job hop way more often, just can't be assed to study for trivia problems that I will never ever use in my day to day job.
>>
>mfw my friend from university who did Finance just told me about his "grueling interview process" where he had to talk to THREE different people for 1 hour each
>this is for a treasury senior manager position where he makes like $250k base with $100k bonus every year
>mfw I told him that I had to do three one hour screens before an on-site interview of 8 back to back 1:1s for Google, plus a "tie breaker" or cultural one and then they failed me even after all that
lmao
>>
>>108481964
I don't think I'm lackeyful enough to be able to handle a culture interview.
>>
>>108478005
Just 2 more time units.
>>
