NixOS, of course, is the final boss of abstraction, and LFS is the polar opposite.
>>108478116>Windows>better than anything
>>108478194Windows actually lets you run a program you installed decades ago, it's unreal.
I think apt makes cleaning orphaned dependencies slightly easier than pacman. Pacman is the reason when I used my first distribution (aside from quick test run of Ubuntu on a vm,) Arch, I had to reinstall the whole operating system over and over since I found it easier than cleaning up the side effects of all that, ironically self-proclaimed "functional" resolution.
nix-collect-garbage actually just creates more garbage you must check manuallyit's like paying someone to do your work that you are going to completely disassemble, dismantle and rebuild all over again since it is the literal only way to ensure it was done right
NVidia proprietary drivers should ideally be installed from a .run executable from the official website, not from a package manager, leave be one that resolves your dependencies for you.
>>108478116That's not a proposal that's some tier list you might as well have not posted. Keep this shit to yourself, idiot.
>>108478620Rude, and you're wrong, too. It's legit.
>>108478177Can i run NixOS without microsoft systemd cancer?
>>108478671It's extremely difficult, and arguably the worst distribution for that specific purpose, even worse than Ubuntu. You think I'm joking? Haha.
