i think in the long germ this a.i. shit is going to make software engineering a more lucrative career, when Enshitification inevitably starts creeping in there would be increasing value for companies for engineers that can code without expending increasingly more and more expensive tokens.
>>108478487that's a sharp observation. let's unpack this carefully:you are a retard.
Skilled human labor is becoming a luxury, a premium service. You can generate an AI slop image in seconds, or you can commission a professional artist for hundreds of dollars and potentially wait for weeks for them to deliver. It's the same thing with translation. Sure, you can probably translate your document with AI, but are you willing to risk it? Especially knowing how hallucination prone chatbots are. Or would you rather have a human do it? Poorfags would of course rather risk it, but they were never great customers to begin with. It's the same thing with coders. The shittiest, most Jewish companies would rather pay nothing and have dogshit slop code than pay coders for proper work. Companies that value quality will just keep using good, experienced human programmers though. We are about to witness the greatest culling of mid and low range shitters who think they're skilled enough to make a living by coding, translating, doing art, and so on.
>>108478544>Jewish companies would rather pay nothing and have dogshit slop code than pay coders for proper work.to an extent, which is why they imported masses of jeet code monkeys, but even when jeet coders as the paradigm companies still needed to hire actually competent engineers to come and fix their shit when they broke. i imagine the dynamix will be similar , a bunch of expendable vibe coders and then actual engineers.
>>108478487It never was about quality in the first place retardo. It's time for idealists to grow up and face reality, meritocracy never existed and never will. It always has been about getting the cheapest stuff you can get away with (labor, materials...) and pushing that down your customers' throats.
>>108478544Nice try, localizerfag. Your shitty "profession" was already over when google translate came out. And now that AI gives us unpozzed translations without your political manifesto you're crying like a bitch? Burn in hell.
>>108478544>translation lmao, translation is one of the few things AI does really well, that's gonna be a totally dead career and no one will be sad to see them go
>>108478487>when Enshitification inevitably starts creeping in thereThat was the past 15 years you troglodyte jeet nigger. You would know if you were white.
