As a former hater of MacBooks, I have to admit I was wrong.After seeing various benchmarks on M series, I realized that Macbooks absolutely smoke other competitors in terms of performance and battery life. The only advantage of other laptops is the ability to run different operating systems.

I bought a refurbished M2 Macbook Air as a browser laptop and I'm honestly very happy with it. I got the iPad Mini and Airs because I got sick of android tablets and loved them so I figured the MacBook is probably better than a Chromebook or W11 laptop. And I was right. iOS fucking sucks though, I'm not switching to an iPhone based on the iPads.

I think the M2 Air screen might be slower in Hz, however the M2 external display support is better. The M2 will have faster single core performance and have official support a little longer.
