One of my neighbors had a similar experience updating his 14th gen i5 desktop to Windows 11 (it was no in-place update, reformat and install on a clean partition). It ran like total ass and the system behaved as if it had a crypto miner active at all times, forcing him to go back to W10, which fixed all issues.These problems seem to be more common on Intel platforms.
