is it ok if the interviewee uses AI to cheat on the difficult leetcode problem?
>>
If anything has become obviously, categorically, useless since AI, it's LeetCode. Sorry jeets, can't have your cake and eat it too. Time trivia snippets of code are no longer indicative of engineering value.

If you cannot use AI, then you're useless meat

We now allow people to use their AI of choice for LeetCode. In fact, you are encouraged to do so. If you can manage to make it solve it (trivial, really), then that means you are up to date and will be a good fit. You wouldn't believe the number of morons who say they never used AI and don't know how to make it solve the problems. It really makes all the online seething about AI make sense; it is a bunch of dimwits.
