What gaming headset does /g/ recommend? I have this but it started turning the volume down on its own everytime I turn on my pc but it doesnt happen with any other audio device I test so I'm thinking of getting a new one.

I always by the cheapest headsets I can find since before I couldnt figure out a reason to spend any more than like 15-50 dollars on it but recently they seem to be breaking down way sooner than I thought... I guess my budget would be about $100 maximum though I could bump it up if I don't have to by a new headset every 1-3 years... Wired is pretty much a necessity because I don't want to spend any time charging it since I almost am constantly using it.

But then again I am rather stationary when I use them so they won't get knocked around so much during travel. Go to the store finger fuck a few models and be prepared to spend at least a hundred bucks on something tough. At least that's my rationale for my next headset.
