How is systemd so popular if it is this retarded? This is a screenshot from a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 server VM, I installed microk8s and issued shutdown -H now -> systemd unironically hangs like this, preventing shutdown indefinitely. HOW is this POPULAR software SO BAD?

My host is gentoo with openrc, never any problems, it's just that I instantly encounter such problems in a mere fresh ubuntu 24.04 server vm that made me make this thread. Jesus christ.
