CS is the only thing i can study and have some sort of comprehension and familiarity with. i don't have the discipline to learn an entirely new concept like engineering or chemistry or biology or medical or law. I either get a CS degree or don't get any degree.

i started one in 2019 but covid fucked it up so I dropped out been considering taking some coding courses at the community college if for no other reason than hobbyist/personal projects

There are many jobs which can be self-taught and if you demonstrate your skills on a job application and at a interview you can get hired without certifications or degrees.
