Going on Discord oftentimes seems like visiting a special education room, in all honesty. I've seen numerous people well into their adult years who act like someone they shouldn't. Has anyone else had the same experience?
Discord sucks because you have three different tiers of rules you have to follow to even *begin* to network, and thats before you have to worry about cliques and reputation. First you have Discord company rules. That big ass terms of service that nobody reads and they can change whenever they want.Then you have the server owners rules and the general guidelines they set.Then you have the channel moderator(s) with their own godlike complexes that want to tell you what you can or cannot say and how to say it irrespective of the former rules sets already present.Then you have to make a topic thats interesting to engage with in order to start a conversation with other people present on that channel while all three groups are watching. It gets worse if you're trying to find a girlfriend since a lot of men want to be your girlfriend. (???)Oh and now nations are trying to get in on the rule making. It's amazing anyone is able to make actual friends at all anywhere.

>>108500134It probably depends on where you are spending your time within Discord. Are you primarily in public servers that anyone can get into? I could totally see those areas being special as hell. I'm primarily in private servers setup by my friends from VRchat, so my experiences are likely skewed toward being less unhinged.
