I can't believe I bought these. They sound amazing but holy hell the build quality is terrible and it only shows more and more each year. I've replaced everything I can to improve them and they're still crap.

I fell for the Maxwell meme, huge regret due to it's abysmal microphone performance. I have never experienced something this bad.

Isn't Maxwell the one with very bad channel balance?
Also why are planar manufacturers so insistent on using adhesives for their earpads and sometimes most of the assembly? dynamic drivers can do good bass extension without needing glue to have good seal
