anyone know how to get rid of the dashes and change the progress bar to be one flat rectangle instead of individual squares

>>108506411I was thinking of running Arch/Cinnamon, how do you find it? Does Cinnamon come with all the same default software as a Mint/Cinnamon install?I got it running pretty lean on my old thinkpad, who says Cinnamon is heavy?
>>108506609Cinnamon can be easily installed through ArchInstall which is how i did mine. wouldn't know if it comes with the same stuff that it does on mint since I never used mint. I do love it. i had KDE before, and i didn't like it. so i switched to Cinnamon. never using anything else. cinnamon is the GOAT desktop and it never frustrated me.
>>108506630It really is the best. I've tried all the main ones and a few more niche ones and landed back on Cinnamon on both my laptops. The Arch/KDE combo was mostly good for me but there were a few things I didn't like so I swapped around to this and that and finally got sick of being mildly inconvenienced all the time. I think for people who really need Wayland for whatever reason Cinnamon is a bad choice, otherwise you are just being an 'enthusiast' ahead of practical considerations.

Only issue I have is sometimes after sleep, it fucks the refresh rate, but it's easily fixable with `Alt+f2 -> r`Was looking forward to Cosmic, but seeing as System76 has been sitting on their thumbs with it since December, it looks like I'm more looking forward to Cinnamon on Wayland becoming the de-facto.Really enjoyed Gnome but I'd rather not go back over Cinnamon or Cosmic.
>>108506939very beautiful Taj Mahal, sir
>>108506609To answer your question, it doesn't contain all the software, just the WM/DE and options/customization tools. I don't know everything that's installed by default, but two that I use religiously and consider necessary are TimeShift, which is available on Arch, and Xed, which isn't officially available but it's a fork of Gedit.>>108506947Picrel
