Proprietary software needs to be vetted and standardized by organizations that are deregulated, monitored, and reputable to ensure the software is what it claims to be before its service is offered to anyone. You will have so much more security coming out of this simple method of validating code than to expose it all to the public eye. All of you should be more concerned about software IN GENERAL that exploits the consumer in various ways. Proprietary-or-not is simply not your dealbreaker justification for safety. But all of you idiots are so insanely focused on running open-sourced software that I am convinced all of you are psyopped to hell. I warned you faggots years ago and got called an idiot, and now Claude Mythos will be used by the NSA to rape all of you to the point any kind of extra code in open-sourced software is a synonym of open-backdoor. Linux never protected you, your internet footprint washing never protected you from databroker archives, they don't need ID verification to profile who you are, your data will always be pivotable away from its concrete structure, they don't even need to get in your fucking devices to understand your general activities wayward from your friends and relatives, from the flock nests, to the blacksky satellites above. Privacy against the government is fucking dead, it's been dead for 20 years, and this thread OP is less demoralizing than all of you autistic gentoo users convincing each other that you're protecting yourselves from the government. Good job creating your little negative spaces indicated for closer inspection! On the other hand, systemd is the best example of low-trust to the point of decadence. Do all of you need to experience the AI-induced Libson earthquake in order to convince you that your sanctimonious worship of open-source does not make a lick of a difference for you?
