i don't care what musk is doing. if you want a hugbox to bitch over meaningless garbage like whatever it is you're whining about right now, do it on troonsky you stupid vantablack nigger. or just kill yourself, really whatever gets you to stop clogging my board.

Let me guess, they moved all that clutter elsewhere?
It's 40's tech that peaked in 60's and was upgraded in 80's. Not much to improve. But you can move parts around to optimise for multiple smol engines instead of a couple big ones and it's an obvious decision to make.

Shit thread.
Also a person doesn't invent something just because the people they pay make it.

ever here the phrase "it's not rocket science"? that's because this shit is really hard. you should watch some alexander the ok on yt.

For the second time when digital computers became a thing.
Hmm, I noticed wiki has this phenomena named as "Information Age" which sound vey gay. Was it not originally called teh digital revolution?

Lots of passages and sensors are now internal.
What could be removed has also been removed.
This is legitimately the most advanced chemical rocket engine just from cycle type and chamber pressure alone.
There are more efficient ones and more powerful ones like the SSME or F1/RD-180 but they are pigs

Making something look easy is the hardest part.

>This is legitimately the most advanced chemical rocket engine
Do you mean the most lean one and potentially the most mass produced? Sometimes "more technologically advanced" is in the opposite direction from "more optimal".
>>
>>108518364
why are you wasting everyone's time with this faggot shit you dumb nigger? being bored and not having friends is a (You) problem. take your (You) problem elsewhere.
>>
>>108519489
More advanced in that the 300+ bar chamber pressure exceeds every other engine by alot. This makes for some insane thrust to weight ratio. Raptor puts out more thrust than an RS-25 (shuttle/artemis engine) with half the weight and size.
The full flow staged combustion cycle is what helps with achieving this and Raptor is the only FFSC engine to actually fly.

There is little you'd consider suboptimal. Despite all the changes from Raptor v1 to v3 they never sacrificed engine performance and it only ever improved.

I prefer "it's not rocket surgery"
