you should have donated more
you think $18M a year is enough for the poor mozilla ceo?
>>
Anyone is following what they are doing at mozilla rn? There was a cool feature requested a while ago. Separate proxy settings for each profile. So that you could have your stuff pushed through proxy if that tab uses a certain profile you configured. But only that tab, not the entire browser. That when that's done, it would make sense to have a feature that would auto use a certain profile for certain websites, or groups of websites, like based on regex or your curated lists etc. The way you can isolate facebook rn in firefox, via their official extension.
Now all that can be used so that you would be able to access tor and other overlay networks, your regular stuff, maybe bypass geoblocks real quick etc.

Mozilla could've done that like 5 years ago, when people suggested that. Seems like those faggots are not interested in any progress at all. Funny how mozilla would've been dead by now if not for literal troons pushing Rust and trying to justify it by creating something better etc.

They're still there, there's a known issue with them fucking that up.
I forgot the fix, but a quick google search will tell you where to go in the settings to fix it.

check your profiles dir, ~/.mozilla/firefox/ on loonix usually. Chances are they are all there, but the profiles.ini is fucked. Just add a new block
[Profile2]
Name=PLACEHOLDER
IsRelative=1
Path=<randomstring>.<profilename>
Default=1

and it's all good.

Default=1 obv for the one you wanna be the default
[Profile2] can be [Profile4] or whatever
the path should be the name of the directory in the profile dir.
>>
I recommend purging your profiles at least once a year. Makes your browser feel snappier.

your profiles are just folders with config files in them
just restore them from your weekly backup anon
>>
>>108518860
That is why I avoid using built in features like that.
>>
>>108518860
No problem, just run a back-up.
>>
>>108518860
actually the reason is that you are using the outdated profile system instead of the new one
you should probably get with the times
(can sombody please explain to me why mozilla has come out with like five different profile systems in the last decade even though it's had perfectly working profiles since the 90s?)
>>108518986
the new one involves a bunch of sqlite databases and if it thinks they exist at all it doesn't pay any attention to the old one

run my californian macfaggot google rejects. Reinventing the wheel to appear busy is all they have--
WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S AN SQLITE DATABASE NOW
>>
>>108520180
$ du -hs .mozilla/firefox/'Profile Groups'
32.4M .mozilla/firefox/Profile Groups
$ find .mozilla/firefox/'Profile Groups' | grep sqlite | wc -l
