The most insane thing about Windows that's been on my mind recently is how Powershell proudly tells you how long it took to load your shell profile which can be SECONDS long. How is this even possible? I'm thinking of that Casey Muratori video where he's complaining just how slow Visual Studio is and showing the email chain of him and a jeet representative at Microsoft saying there's a "cultural disconnect" at work.
