Uh... is it just me or has Firefox been feeling slower and more bloated?
Just you. It kind of bottomed out in 2019 and hasn't gotten any better or worse. Just uglier.
It's always been slow and very prone to leaking memory.
>>108521044I've been feeling this way for about 10 years now.
I wouldn't know, I stopped using it when it became slow and bloated and btfod by Chrome
>>108521044It's the opposite, recently it has been getting faster and they're fixing old issues i had
>>108521044Yeah like a decade ago
>>108521044I only started using it because I vaguely heard that other browsers were banning adblock. That was like 4 years ago and I don't think it's actually true but I'm too lazy to switch back to Edge. I remember Firefox always being the second biggest laughing stock after Internet Explorer back in the day, now I see why. The 'privacy' features are pretty cool though, I'll give it that. Of course they don't actually do anything but they really sell the illusion that they are. I see why it's used as a base for the fed honeypot browser retards use to buy drugs and watch CP.
quick reminder to raise dom.ipc.processCount.webIsolated to avoid memory fragmentation
