They're still gonna come out ahead, those prices are not gonna go back to pre-ai bubble levels.

that turboquant thing turned out to be nothingburger
it will go up again soon

commercial ai is owari da
turns out everyone was using the free options and barely anyone was paying for it
theres no money in it
and now that the free versions have been neutered to the point of being unusable, users are leaving, with the side effect that nobody is convinced that this "demo" is worth paying for

sora has already been cancelled, and that was THE feature for normalfags that only care about consumer content
this is the beginning of the end

I don't think it's that extreme anon. And lets be honest the average person isn't using local models when they're using AI, they're using the large commercial ones. Even if I wished it was otherwise, it's just not feasible for the average person to have their own self-hosted agent yet.

bubbles are more like balloons, they deflate slowly
currently the big ai companies are still seeing some growth from the third world, since they all have poverty plans
not to any profitability of course, and definitely not sustainably, but its growth that makes it appear as if the scam can go on for a little longer

Clicking around through pcpartpicker, it looks more like RAM prices are stable rather than falling. At least they're not climbing, I guess.

i do not wish anything, i have no horses in this race
the average person isnt using ai if
>its not free
>it doesnt just werk
as of today, you can only get one of these two
that already makes it unattractive to normalfags
and even if theyre paying, it will be the first thing to go when they have to budget for the rising cost of living due to the israel war
