I got into it because it was an open source alternative, but think that alone won't sell a system, what sells it to me is how much you can "look inside" and customize it and learn about it, hacker is not the proper word since I'm not hacking anything, but I really feel like I'm using a proper computer, not some mysterious machine that does what I want sometimes
