is there any standardised way to remove the speed cap on these things entirely instead of just increasing it? nobody online seems to be doing this. it's really gay to go downhill at the same fucking speed you go uphill like you're violating the laws of physics or some shit. I guess I could just cut the wires and rewire the electric engine to bypass to software entirely. seems extremely simple, considering how basic the wiring of an electric engine is. is there a better way of doing this?

They'll get unstable over a certain speed.
The front wheel will wobble faster and faster until you smack your teeth on the concrete.
>>
Doesnt anyone find it weird that these things appeared out of nowhere in almost every city on the globe at pretty much the same time?

skill issue
>>108524156
they're insanely practical. it's like an extremely cheap moped that you never have to fix
>>
>>108524156
Who funded these things globally and why?

To get rid of cars in the cities.

They are practical but that does not explain how they just suddenly appeared everywhere at the same time. Somebody had to fund this push. If it was organic you would see them in some places years ahead of others, and most likely you would still have places without them today other than maybe iran and NK.

That is the first time I heard an answer that somewhat makes sense.
>>
>>108524197
This also sounds plausible.

Yes, buy pic related.
>it's really gay to
It's really gay to be using a child's toy as your regular transportation.

a noble goal, then

you must be some a newfag when it comes to the brainrot media era
i can make your whole country drive these if you give me $50k to bribe a dozen tiktok influencers
it's really that easy

If i wanted to hear NPC opinions I would go to reddit.

>>108524132
No, it's different for every brand or model.
You specifically have to check which model can be unlocked before buying.
In Germany Segway is good, but the unlocking tool costs 70€.

what part of my post are you struggling to accept?
>>

>it's really gay to go downhill at the same fucking speed you go uphill
it would need to be a hardware redesign. a freewheeling permanent magnet motor generates voltage exactly like a generator. if you spin it too fast it can exceed the maximum voltage of the FETs and blow them up. if it's a regenerative charging design it gets even more complicated.

i don't

20 km is plenty fast

get a new controller chip/card for the motor
>>
>>108524132
you cannot just wire a brushless motor directly, you need a controller
>>

>spending 10 trillion dollars to get a motorcycle license
kek. maybe it's cheap to get one where you live, but where I live it's insanely expansive to get a license for anything, ESPECIALLY motorcycles because you have to pay the instructor to drive behind you, while you ride a bike infront of him
>>
>>108524379
wait, why? isn't it conceptually the same as those tiny cheap electric engines for toys?
>>
>>108524495
Cheap, brushed motors can be wired directly with DC. Brushless motors require three separate AC supplies 120° out of phase with each other to stimulate three coils of the stator as the rotor spins. The frequency of the AC determines the speed, and needs to be constantly regulated to ensure it doesn't go out of sync.
