Why do you guys think DRM is bad and piracy good? Does DRM even effect gameplay of video games or use of software at all?

What problems does DRM cause? Are the people complaining about it just wanting to steal?

I went to school for architecture and I would be pissed if people downloaded my floorplans to build houses for free with out paying me for my time and effort that I put in to design the houses and all that. I want to be paid for my time and work. I wouldn't give a fuck if my designs got to be built for real if people got them for free. I want money for my time and work.

Is the no DRM yes to piracy just online people wanting to justify the electronic version of theft?

>t. 36 year old who went to college for something artistic kind of and wouldn't want their designs taken for free by pressing a button instead of paying thousands of dollars
