>I got the cheapest possible PSU for my high end Premium build, what could possibly go wrong

Probably nothing
>>
I've never had a PSU die in 20 years

Modular, "gayming" branded, 850W.
It is a premium PSU. Although it does not mean the quality is premium. But they no longer make those. This is the closest you will get.

stops working
I've had it happen, in fact it was a BeQuiet psu that went with a huge bang
replaced it with what I could afford at the time, which was an arctic cooler pro, or something... which still works today but lacks enough pcie connectors for my build

I got a 450w psu on a 3060 with a xenon cpu
fine

It's Gaymen you fucking retard. See how it has the words gay and men, to make it sounds like gaming.

Fucking yuropors and/or browns (same thing lol) I swear

Power supplies don't always die in the sense that the computer wont turn on. A flaky power supply can sometimes cause system lockups or failure to boot reliably and it can be hard to tell if its the motherboard, software or the Power Supply.

I have never had a computer have random system lockups or fail to boot reliably in 20 years.

brown is the most common eye color in the US, blue is the most common in europe. go figure
>>

Cheaping out on the PSU really makes no sense, you can get an excellent PSU that will outlast all your components for 150$

I just had one die last month. It could pass memtest, but on subsequent boots it did not work. Thought the motherboard died, but with a spare PSU the system worked.

granted, this was a no-name PSU powering a pentium III board. Not exactly Seasonic/Corsair. The spare PSU I tested it with was in fact a 18 year old Corsair...
