Question to cybersecurity experts: will Denuvo patch the Hypervisor method?
Kirigiri/MKDev team says it's impossible to patch because it would require update from Windows itself, not denuvo.
voices67 says it's easy to patch and he's already done it.

AAA gayming is dead
Most people just play gacha slop anyways.
Nobody wants to buy 5070/9070+ just to play corny, and blurry unreal engine slop.
>>
>>108528717
re9 just came out and I'm quite enjoying it
doesn't have unreal engine

Without kernel level access, it's a game they can't win. Whatever checks they make can be patched to send fake data to satisfy Denuvo's tests and sanity checks.

>Without kernel level access
ohnonono nobody tell him
>>
>>108528703
Denuvo will just sit at ring -1 instead of ring 0
>>
Bios level anticheat

I don't know the exact details of the exploits, but there's not much that can't be patched/mitigated short of hardware exploits.
Sure, the patch may need drastic changes, but not impossible.

>I have dog shit taste in games
we know

why that wasnt used before
why we are so dumb

This, and till then thousand of hyper poorfags (third worlder) will continue to use these ""cracks"" through trannygirl and other repacks. This shit is just waiting (tho 100% already happening) to be abused by bad actors.

I only would want to play gta6 otherwise indie stuff is good enough
>>
>>108529464
>wanting to play lefty rockstar slop
lmao? rdr2 was their last game, period, and even that already had huge problems, just like gta 5
>>
>>108529498
yeah but bouncy ass
>>
you're asking a technically illiterate board who was screaming FUD about an open source hypervisor from sysinternals, whether the bluepill attack is still viable
you'd be better off asking chatgpt

New AAA games will require proprietary forks of SteamOS with ultra-DRM+anticheat embedded into the kernel. There will be a different walled garden OS for UPlay, Epic, EA, Origin etc. Some might even be locked to specific partners like to play Sims 5 you need an Alienware with the closed source EA operating system installed.
Some bank apps already do this, you need an "approved" firmware installed on your phone or you cant log in.

I doubt that will happen. Video game studios simply aren't in the business of maintaining operating systems. It's way easier and better for all parties to let a third party handle it. It's kind of like carplay/android auto in cars, even with Chevy getting rid of it they'er still just using android automotive not rolling their own, and the big software big boy Tesla company even finally realzed it was easier for them this way. Windows will be abandoned by corporate IT before it's abandoned by video games. Comforting really, since that's where it came from.

>You vill need to have secure boot to play the singleplayer game
>You vill not be allowed to disable our dogshit virtualization "security"
>You vill not look away when the start up add plays
>You vill insert your government id into the "protect babies against being raped id scanner 12700k" to be able to launch your browser
>>

I made the mistake of actually paying for a game once because I wanted to be able to have green guns work on hitman. They still didn't work because the game company has a negative opinion of my ISP, or something. Never ever give money to people who make video games.

>>108529801
the protect babies except from the baal worshippers ID

>re9
that shit runs on a 3060
>>
>>108529551
asked gemini and claude and they came to different conclusions so I was copy pasting their responses as they were arguing by proxy and eventually claude conceded like bitch that yes hypervisor will be stopped
>>
>>108528703
they only have two options.
a) stop offering offline play
b) implement their own kernel driver and enforce secure boot
either way, the goyim lose.
>>
>>108528703
when i wrote rust cheats we also used bespoke hvs. relatively hard to sig if you do it right and even then unless denuvo goes ring-1 and goes full anticheatmode its basically impossible todo so. Half of the stuff we did to bypass eac, i can imagine being of use here ( though i have not really immersed my self in game cracking).
>>
>>108528703
how the fuck are regarded gaymers comfortable with running random hypervusors for their gaymes???
>>
>>108530592
because running dodgy shit from torrents is a prerequistive for piracy, always has been
