We still don't know jack shit about zen6 and am5 still has atleast one more generation with zen6...

As far as future proofing theres no way to tell what will be valuable in the future. If your thinking about getting an x3d chip then zen6 'supposedly' has a larger increase in x3d cache that will blow zen5 out the watter. But if your focused on just getting an x3d chip now then the 9800x3d is going to be the most relevant cpu thats available today in the future, atleast on am5. A 9850x3d would be better, but so would a 9950x3d 2.

I got an OLED monitor & the Pulsar doesn't justify the cost.
It's also better to wait for these first gen implementations to mature.
4K Pulsar might be interesting, but it will need 1080p dual mode for competitive multiplayer games.

its been like this since last year, the nico nigger (amd schizo) and now the Intel schizo always snipe the general and if someone else makes the general they make one themselves anyways, confusing or misdirecring the people that actually need help.
Theres no chance of things getting better unless they block their ass from the whole board

if amd would launch new and better am4 x3d chips and back port fsr4 int8 to rdna 2 and 3 people would instantly love them, but they want to be evil like nvidia

chip design takes years to complete. by the time they're done backporting zen4/5 to am4, zen6 would already be 1-2 years old
>>
>>108529984
This is true, but we really need rtings to put gsync pulsar monitors into their burn in benchmark.
It's really hard to actually burn in the display, since the backlight is just bunch of rows, and it would have a similar burn in as a mini-led (which is hard to burn in as well), but it should be possible in theory.
Also I want to see a pulsar display with a dead zone, to see how ugly it would be. I tried to search google but it seems nobody has experience it. yet.

buy a psu that does 15-20% more wattage than your system pulls under max load. pcpartpicker has a decent wattage calc when you list your items

ill pretend its /pcbg/ related, do i get a vertical mouse? thinking about getting a logitech lift, my g pro superlight started double clicking and reverse scrolling
>>
>>108531218
15-20% sounds like dangerously low headroom for power spikes.
>>
>>108531183
optimal efficiency is about 60-80% of the psu's rated wattage

irrelevant if you get atx3.1 since the spec requires larger OCP margins on the 12v rails
