I thought youtube would be fully dead at this point due to the increasing amount of AI slop. Facebook and instagram even moreso but people still use them. People seem to akcowledge these apps are bad for you and hate using them yet...still use them. Not to mention advertsing not slowing down one bit and getting even more invasive. Does the normie drone just not have a breaking point?

Why does YouTube push shorts so aggressively? You can't even disable shorts anymore, and the mobile search is crippled. Its also unusable without an adblocker.

>>108532766I meant within YouTube itself. I could've sworn there used to be an option to turn off shorts permanently but now you can only click "show me less shorts." It doesn't block them completely. For some reason YouTube really wants you to watch shorts instead of full length videos.
