What actually happened is that they put a jeet in charge of google search, who happened to run google ads prior that. They also kicked out the previous head of Search.The idea is that if Search gives crap results, you'll do another search with different keywords. Which means more time spent on the page and more pageloads, which means you see more ads.Google is just a shareholders whore now.
