Anyone notice this thing crashes more lately?
>>108539143>what do you mean?
>>108539143no, werks feyen on muh mashin
NoAll fine here currently. But i am already scared about the next UI update fucking everything again.
I really gotta wonder what people do to their browsers to make them crash since I don't remember either Firefox or Chrome crashing in like at least a decade.
>>108539503what do you mean, it looks great
>>108539537I care less about the zoomer UI than i care about my userChrome getting fucked yet again.Give me back the fucking icons in the context menus.I hate it intensively when i right click something and the menu is pure text, even thought that there is obviously room for icons.
>>108539143Run Memtest86+. You probably got faulty RAM. I had this problem too.
>>108539143Works fine for me since 2013, zero issues.>>108539537This has been confirmed a mockup, not the final design.
>>108539537Gaps and rounded corners can go to hell. I'm just going to run Debian+i3 with no gaps or window borders and firefox-esr until the wheels fall off if this is the new UI trend.
>>108539598>>108539592>>108539554jetbrains is doing it too, islands is the new future since macOS Tahoe introduced it.
>>108539537How do you even know what's button and what is not?
>>108539559shiet never saw can actually output a message like that
>>108539623who cares about some corpo jeet IDE for writing JavaScript on apple following apple toy guidelines?
works on my machine
>>108539559seeing this must hurt a lot
>>108539143No but I do know that Chrome consistently renders a black bar on mangadex entry pages that does not appear on Firefox. In my experience Chrome is a buggy POS in comparison.
>>108539683Yes, shit gets worse. First it was Firefox that crashed multiple times a day, then corrupted kdbx file during saving in Keepassxc. Glad there is backup with every save. And thanks god it was in a times before RAMs become so expensive.
>>108539143>llvm>clang>cbindgen>r*st>nodejsall this slop to just compile a fucking web browser? And this was icecat, firecox is even worse. We need to write our web browser under 1000 lines of C code, this shit is just retarded no wonder it doesn't work when it's held with duktape.
>>108539143Is it me or firefox fakes a crash just to get you to update?
been using brave for the last few years sounds like its not my problem anymore get fucked jewzilla
>>108541482which is a shame too cause i used and shilled ot back when most sites wouldnt fucking support it
>>108539143no, works fine for me. i'm on ESR branch though>>108540164you can build it with gcc, it's no problem. the build system relying on fucking node is absolutely insane, i agree with you here
>>108539143Nope, it works well just like always.Could be better tho... but it's fine.
>>108539143Not really. How much does brave pay your call center to spread bullshit about firefox? Shouldn't you be focusing on improving your spyware browser?
NO because I don't use it. It's not 2010.
>>108541482brave is getting more enshitified day by day, adding more features no one asked for and paid services.it is the only chromium browser worth using tho
>>108539507I used beta version for what feels like a decade. Maybe it is. When did firefox quantum became a thing? 2017 or smth. Close.Old version was very unstable in comparison. Regular one. Compared to quantum beta.Maybe those Rust-queers did something to my foxgirl, she stopped leaking.
>>108539143it crashes when I update it manually (ESR with autoupdates disabled)I imagine it crashes whenever it autoupdates if you are using the playpen human experiment version
The Windows version works flawlessly. The snap package is a disaster
>>108539143>sing brave for the last few years sounds like its not my problem any
>>108539143yes, i will not report, they should fix, bitches
>>108542923Do you really not know that Firefox is actually the more advanced browser? And I do not mean the gimmicks. I mean the engine. They completely overhauled it. And it is literally miles ahead of Chrome and make it look like abandonware. It's likerally like 2010 and you're that Internet Explorer guy. With an NPC face probably. As much as I dislike commies and their grant-run bs that is common in Mozilla, one cannot claim Chrome is a newer tech. It's literally false. And even worse? It's been like that for a while. 10 years soon.
>>108539143No because I don't use it
>>108543644if it's more advanced why is it way slower
>>108539143Yes, I've switched to brave now, It became unusable.
>>108543644lmao https://caniuse.com/?compare=chrome+146,firefox+149&compareCats=all
It hasn't crashed in at least 2 years for me. Maybe it's your OS or ram.
