Do you have solar panels?
>>108539233Yes
>>108539233I was thinking about getting them for my house that I just bought but Idk if I can afford them just yet
>>108539597theyre pretty cheap, i got them installed when there were still lots of subsidies
I got a few running some fans and lights on my chicken coop but that's about it
>>108540054idk it's like $10,000 or something no?
>>108540512nah no way, maybe like $3000 back in the daymind you this was over a decade ago
>>108539233Personal solar panels are completely unaffordable in Europe and you'll struggle to break even. Leave all that shit to Americans.
>>108541983i am in europe
>>108542001How are you affording it? Nobody where I'm can afford it.
don't you have to replace the panels every 15 years?
>>108542048no, i recently took them down to replace the roof tiles and they were fine after over a decadebarely needed cleaning too
Yeah, they're nice to have during the summer and sunnier seasons, definitely a long term investment though, especially if you want to hook into your grid since you'll need lisenced contractors to do stuff for you.
> 2 panels á 450Wp + inverter for 300€ if you are looking for a good dealanon, that's not expensiveyes it takes some years to get the money back but if we even have one small near SHTF event you are goldenadd a 1,6kWh offgrid and offline powerstation for 350-400€ and you are not even dependend on a working grid, just for shits and giggles
>>108539233>implying I can afford a houseI'm a filthy rentee
