Mint works fine... but it's boring. Have you ever left a perfectly fine distro for something else?

>>108540720what does that even mean nigga? how can a distro be boring?

>>108540720It can be as boring as you want, but I've been adapting computers for elderly people for years and Linux Mint is an absolute marvel; it wipes the floor with Windows without breaking a sweat. You never need to update it, it doesn't bother you with intrusive ads, and so on.
>>108540758For the unemployed or people with too much time on their hands a perfectly working system can be very boring, it doesn't feed your sense of importance as much.
>>108540720No. An operating system should be boring. The operating system is not my hobby or my job or why I am, unfortunately, being at computers.
>>108540720I love how Mint filters posers, contrarians and faggots who don't do anything but rice desktops.Behind all the "it's too old" whining lies a true "it just works" system. For anyone who really uses a computer for something then Mint is a perfect OS.
>>108541714it's based off of d*bian therefore pozzed distro
>>108540720Are you a woman, why do you want drama in your life just for the sake of drama? Having to micromanage and fix your OS is not excitement. If you want a challenge just set up a home server, learn how to use docker, reverse proxy etc. do something actually useful in the meantime.>>108541327I installed it on my dad's underpowered laptop years ago, never had to reinstall, never had to deal with malware since. The funniest part is it actually gets better battery life too because the anaemic dual-core CPU isn't constantly pegged at 100%.

>>108540720Uhhh, it's up to you, ultimately it doesn't matter. However, do women who wear tights/pantyhose clean the thigh area that contacts the toilet seat after using public restrooms? If they don't clean those parts then wouldn't the nasty toilet seat germs clinging on their legs get sandwiched by the fabric?
>>108543003Debian is absolutely fine. As I said, it filters posers, contrarians and faggots.
I chose to use Manjaro instead of something fancier like EndeavorOS because Manjaro was a better fit for my family when jumping ship from Windows and I felt it was better for me to use what the rest of the family used.
