Burn Local

https://archive.is/doHP7

>AI enthusiasts scrambled over the weekend after Anthropic blocked Claude subscriptions from powering third-party agent tools such as OpenClaw.

>the move underscores a growing tension at the heart of the AI boom: power users want autonomous agents that run constantly, but AI labs are trying to control costs, capacity and how their models are used.

>pay for x capacity/usage
>>nuh huh you can't akhully use that much, prove you are not a bot
money stolen

Qwen 3.5 works 95% as well and you can run it locally.
I input Sonnet 4.6's token costs into my coding software and I would've spent well over $400 yesterday alone.

Same as with ISP

freeze global

i want local to be as good as the the fat models, but they're just not
some local fag telling you that qwen 27b is the same as gpt 5.4 xhigh (or even medium), is just lying
and unfortunately a lot of localfags are compulsive liars who get mad when you call out their shit

I thought ai chads keep winning? What happened?

the cognitive-as-a-service is unstainable in the long run. There is more computational demand that computational infrastructure the big corpos can afford.

Because of that, now the processing demand will trickle down into domestic computers where WE, THE PEOPLE own the models.

People must create their own Low-Ranking adapters. Homegrown. That is way more healthy than a subscription based service with two or three california dudes controlling the supply chain of synthetics.

Even subscription use of the models is subsidized, and it's now becoming more apparent.
OpenAI will just keep borrowing money and throwing it into the fire pit until they eventually collapse.
Anthropic will adjust their business model to try to operate at a profit, but that will turn away users from their service, limiting how much that'll actually matter.
VC firms throwing money at these and the startups building on top of them, as well as datacenter builders are going to lose big.
