>download codeblocks
>simple, just make a project and a hello world file
>it cant run it
>gives me terminated status code error every time i try to run it
>the folder my project is in has a space in the folder name
>this somehow completely breaks codeblocks or windows
>create a new folder for my project without any spaces
>it works like normal with no error

tinkertrans must choose the shittiest option available, you cant change them

this is something a first timer learns quickly. never use spaces in file paths at any time, for any reason.

I routinely use question marks and dollar signs in filenames to weed out shitty software

not my problem.

Use Geany if you want a simple one. I much prefer it over the bloated mess that is VS code.

>Have an old windows laptop that I haven't used for a couple years
>I'd run out of space on the SSD and couldn't figure out why, didn't bother to look into it too much at the time since I was getting a new one
>I wanted to use it again for something recently so decided to get a disk use analyzer to get to the bottom of it
>More than 100 gb of VS code shit across 10 or so different locations, many of them hidden folders
>a good amount of it was cached and temp stuff which could have easily been deleted but I didn't even know about it, and they were in hidden folders so most people wouldn't find it even if they looked
>I'd barely even used it, I needed it for Unreal for a few things but my games were 90% blueprints, and I did a couple of small projects in it and that's it

What the fuck

>idiot doesn't understand the cause of things
>"just never/always do this!"
Many such cases.
