I want to run a virtual machine with GLSL shaders. It's almost possible with QEMU core in RetroArch, but RetroArch reserves a lot of keyboard key inputs for UI. Can't seem to use Enter key. Has anyone solved this problem?
what do keyboard keys have to do with GLSL shaders
>>108563748>QEMU core in RetroArch,So use the standalone? Or edit your core configs to not have those shortcuts? If you can't figure this basic shit why in the fuck are trying to write shaders?
>>108564107I never said I want to write shaders.https://github.com/libretro/glsl-shadersIf I want to have full keyboard available to QEMU, then I have to disable like all of the RetroArch hotkeys, and put the menu access key to right Alt or right Ctrl.Instead of doing just that, I spent some hours to capture this nice shader and its subtle flicker in a 2 or 4 frame GIF, and failed, so here's a static screenshot.
Just buy a CRT?
Couldn't you wait for qemu to render its output and then capture it, process it through the shaders, then display that to the screen? I'm not familiar with x or wayland, but I'd imagine there is a way to intercept the screen output
