Can we start banning people who insult linux and especially the linux desktop? I've read 3 posts here today insulting linux and I'm not sure why we should accept that as a tech community. I understand there are some rare and exceptional circumstances where users might not be able to post from a linux machine, but we should never tolerate people who besmirch FOSS or openly support proprietary garbage that spies on them and doesn't even respect their freedoms. Can we get this going, can we do this?

I talked with OP's mother and she cannot stop gulping all that GNU free software. She installed gentoo and is custom building all packages like obsessed whore she is. She loves it. She said it feels better than sex with OP's dad and finally she knows what freedom truly feels like.

as a linux user, lol. how can you say you like freedom while also wanting to ban people who have different opinions to you?moreover how would you even police it? there are legitimate negative aspects to linux, nothing is perfect. overall though they're hurting themselves more than they're hurting us
