The algorithm isn't backdoored, individual implementations may include backdoors as with all things.
Just be mindful about application and data separation and use virtual machines, containers, and sandboxing utilities like firejail and bubblewrap to control what programs have access to what data and resources on your system appropriately.
If you're on windows or mac os then ZSTD being backdoored is the least of your concern because your OS is already backdoored.
