AI does electrical engineering extremely well, power engineers will be fully replaced by 2030. As a field EE and hardware in general is simpler and easier than CS but there are less ways to validate results and software is closed source hence perceived progress is slower, however when it happens it's going to happen instantly and everywhere at once

>>108572465What drives your dumb street-shitting ass to make these threads? Do they actually pay you, or do you do it out of inherent serfdom? Have you considered how easy it would be to stand in front of an oncoming train?
You'll still be a useless idiot as people well versed in EE will be able to use the AI better than you

>>108572465Some glorified optimization algorithm tools using AI will be made, but AI is dogshit at most EE work aside from RTL related stuff which is the place where it is already starting to be used somewhat. Also>and easier than CSFucking kek during covid a lot of EEs i know witched to software and they all say it is the easiest money they have ever made, be it FAANG-style companies or fintech. The only part they say is harder to deal with is the political side of softwarefaggotry since politics on EE jobs are more of a management thing while on most software companies it seems like there's politics at all levels.Though the EEs I'm talking about qere from the semiconductor and chip design sectors so YMMV, but the general feeling about EE work nowadays is that it is only worth it if you like it because software has a much better reward/effort ratio.
