I HATE THE MONITOR MARKET I HATE THE MONITOR MARKET I HATE THE MONITOR MARKET
>>108572889Just go to Walmart and ask the women's clothing department employee to pick one for you.
>>108572889I HATE THE TV MARKET>no more hope for gigachad 48inch QD-OLED that isn't matte grainy piece of shit>LG intentionally vandalizes their own monitors/tvs with pwm dithering, cpc vignetting, forced contrast sharpening, antireflection coating that makes whites look neon pink/green, none can be fixed or turned off>smaller oled monitors have poor HDR brightness and they give me strain from eyes not moving enough>>108572900Might as well follow the shitty archon who tells you your loved ones are waiting when you die then(don't)
>>108573151>Might as well follow the shitty archon who tells you your loved ones are waiting when you die then(don't)I'm fear this happening.
>>108572889It's not tho?For IPS you go with ASUS ProArt.For OLED you go with ASUS ROG.
>>108573157Just tell the shitty archons to fuck off, their only weapon is deception and manufacturing consentYour own tools against them is knowing their existance and their disgusting lies and hating them like doomguy hates demons
>>108573273>For OLED you go with ASUS ROG.My QD-OLED from them had multiple issues, so beware. Electric clicking sound when in standby. Extremely persistent vertical lines of stuck pixels right after power on that took up to 10 pixel cleaning cycles one after another to get rid of. Firmware updates seem to have resolved everything but they took 6 months.
>>108572889Get yourself a nice IPS, no need to worry about OLED burning in after 3 months.
>>108573310>OLED burning in after 3 monthsAntiquated anecdotes
>>108573273Asus apparently lets you turn off the shitty CPC vignetting although i haven't found real proof against itNu WOLED monitors also have vertical bars baked in the uniformity because they use the edges of the manufactured oled surface that have dogshit uniformity when manufacturing themFor LG monitors are just a side buisness as proven by the banding and them putting CPC and matte on their products, ruining the OLED space with way too bright TVs that have worse white accuracy and near blacks with worse PWM than a 2006 TN TV has become their only goal
>>108573333I wish that were true, but it's still a plague OLED hasn't solved.
>>108573310With LG you'll suffer from delamination(increasingly dying pixels at the edges) from oxygen getting inside because the ppl at their indian factory didn't seal the panel properly way before any burn in will become a reality unless you're blasting the brightness and toggle off their bugged static image detection(as you should)
>>108573333tbf maybe people who max brightness and play retail wow 15 hours a day do get burn-in after 3 months with panels bought for their brightness>>108573377on my 4th year with my OLED (neet usage). anecdotal of course but its something
>>108572889when are we getting WOLOLOLED
