Hi guys, my XFX Merc 19 RX 6800XT has been dying for the past 5 months, after making sure it's an hardware issue i got in touch with XFX since my GPU it's still covered by warranty, even tough i will get a new one from them it's still sad seeing it go away since it made me game for almost 3 years

spend $1500 on an oscilloscope, hot air station, soldering iron, consumables, multimeter, and some dead electronics to practice repairs on and then invest a few hours watching youtube videos on electronics repair and practice it yourself until you can diagnose and fix it. probably just a $0.10 capacitor, resistor, or logic gate.

Are 200°C enough? my airfryer doesn't go any higher

my 6700xt outlasted you

you need to use a gpu support otherwise the pcb bends and the bga solder balls crack
>>
you have to put ptm7950 on all rdna cards or they will fail eventually. 9000 series makes it standard.

You got unlucky

Hi, i been using a GPU bracket since i got it
>>
>>108574266
No? My RX6800XT never went past 80°C, the memories always stayed around 88°C in gaming, also i would have voided the warranty
>>
>>108573937
Ok and? It still runs games great in 1440p, also a 5080 is around 1000€ and my wallet can't afford that

Good, then your gpu isn't dying and you misdiagnosed the issue.
what's your hotspot delta?
>>
>>108574391
every paste pumps out 1 year max on those chips. you are going to have to open it regardless unless you put phase change material on it. also opening a gpu doesn't void your warranty in america. those warranty stickers are illegal here.

It is, random black screens and freezes in games, sometimes it would shit it self even when nothing was using it at all, i just put in my old RX580 and so far i still think it's an hardware issue, also the xfx support helped me diagnose the issue, the hotspot stays around 94°C in gaming

i love your food
>>

Only thing good here is the food and a couple of regulations for consumers, everything else needs to be taken down and built from scratch

>NO VSYNC ON
>GAYMING FOR HOURS ON 99% USAGE NO REASON FOR OVER SHOT FPS
>COIL WHINED TO INSANITY
you dont respect your stuff simple as you are a nigger
