Everytime I try a new distro, i keep coming back to windows, for one reason: my idle fan noises are way fucking noticeable on linux than on windows, doesent matter if i use mint/fedora or some meme gayming distribution.Is there a way to fix that?And is pic rel a good just werks distribution if i dont mind gnome and i find kde to be bloated?
windows kernel was built by professional white SWE’s in the 90s, that’s why it is so good. the linux kernel was built by the same, thats why lightweight linux servers are so performant.now, linux DE’s and distros are built by uberpozzed corpos and troons. that’s why they’re shit. even mainstream distros like debian and ubuntu are reliant on tools and thingamabobs built by single crazy poo-eating xirs living in a basement. the biggest tell is how unprofessional the UI looks. /g/ copes and seethes about UI, but at the end of the day, thats why linux desktop failed. it looks unprofessional.
