>>108581648World of Warcraft

>>108581850wanna test me? go ahead
>>108581867I learned English from watching anime and posting here. That's why I can write just fine but I can't speak it at all.
>>108581881Test what? That you do not know any language beyond English?
>>108581889no, test my urine ph levelyes you fucking moron, what else
>appyou retards just want to spin your wheels forever without ever getting shit done right? you want to be that idiot who spends 10 years doing duolingo or grinding a 10k anki deck and is still unable to say or read shit?JUST READ A FUCKING BOOK/PLAY A GAME, yes it's hard, yes you don't understand shit, but if you put in the time and practice daily you WILL improve
>>108581901Play games for immersion, add new words to mining deck for practice. You can do both.
>>108581648lmao just force others to speak your native tongue. That's what my ancestors did and that is what I will do
I know English. Why would I need to learn some monkey language. What's the use case?
>>108581946That surely is going great for Russians and Germans.
>>108581648you don't need an app, Ai is good enough now, especially when you try to learn spoken languagefirst you need to be diligentlearn the alphabet of the language and some words and their meaningslater learn Grammer and rulesand the moment you feel good enough start hoarding words and sentences generally a single hour a day is going to be enough for you to learn enough without burning yourself out, that is what am I doing to improve my English , next language is Japanese best advice avoid apps that give achievements and fake sense of accomplishment, they make you feel good but don't help you
>>108581648Babbel perpetual, anki, and real offline courses
>>108581948>What's the use case?Opens a huge portal of opportunities for translation jobs
>>108581679That is how I learned english unironically
english, italiano, espanol. basuu, lingq and others who allows you to browse internet or thing and readgrammar book ultimatly if you wanna understand ,dictionnaryassimils are good,i guess teach yourself are good too
>>108581648anki
Todaiiyou can read news articles (or have it read out to you), sort by vocabulary complexity, save words to a deck of flashcards and lots of convenient featuresBut it does require a tiny bit of baseline knowledge
>>108582181>>108581679same kek
>>1085816484chan lololololu lvl up when they stop calling you an esl fag
>>108581648Apps can be a good starting point. I believe Udemy courses might be another good alternative. They cost around 15€ for dozens of hours. But nothing will never replace real life courses and interaction with native speakers. Learning Farsi at the moment and I am eating out as much as possible to the Iranian and Afghan restaurants near me (trying best I can not to go broke).
>>108581648Currently using Anki for vocabulary and youtube/other guides for grammar.Either one would not be nearly as effective without the other. Anki can do more but haven't expanded beyond the one deck for now.
>>108581648When I learned a language ~10 years ago the apps weren't as pozzed and generally provided everything for free. I mostly used Memrise and Clozemaster, but they've been kinda locked down now with subscription requirements. Was going to learn another one and looked at Busuu but still seems pretty crap like the other stuff. Think I'd just use Anki now and find some vocab pack.
I think you're still better off just using a textbook or course, than an "app"That said I don't know how to find good textbooks. I kinda wanna learn mandarin because china is unironically becoming significant (including in online culture) but iunno I probably never will
>>108581648I use a browser to learn English.
