What the fuck is going on? Why are their ants swarming everywhere in my Dell Monitor? They're not on my desk, there's no food anywhere, they're not on any other monitors or hardware, but absolutely investing this specific display.
>>
What is this? A monitor for ants?
>>
>>108602330
They hate you and want to commit sudoku in the middle of your screen to impair your viewing experience.
>>
>>108602330
>there's no food anywhere
you better feed them so they don't die

Microsoft developers probably moved into your neighborhood.
They like to live in warm places like behind the fridge.

Might be the first thread in this entire site where every reply post is good/based (Even the OP). Sorry for breaking the streak, but cheers.
OP, maybe some insect died inside your monitor and these ants are feeding on it. Or maybe you managed to get a Queen ant to live in your monitor.
>>
the real fun is when they get behind the antiglare coating and die in the middle of the screen. the solution is simple though, just clean everything in a bleach+water+soap solution to remove their pheromone trails that they use, and stop eating at your desk.

Your dick ants have spread to your monitor.
>>
Follow the ants, find where they come from (I don't think the nest is in the monitor). My bet is they have found a path from outside in the wall/plinth.
Use gel poison or the little blue flakes, they'll bring back the gel to the queen and it will kill them after a few days.
Right now there's a strong pheromone on your screen for some reason. Every time an ant come they'll reinforce it. Even if you wash it with soap the ants will still smell it from meters away and come near it, it's quite impressive how strong it smells for them.

I've had this. There's no solution. They will eventually die and some will die in the screen. You need to throw it away.

It looks like raspberry ants.

They're attracted to electrical equipment for some reason. During the winter one got inside my monitor and was crawling inside of the LCD, luckily it eventually crawled out and didn't cause any damage. Terro ant baits seemed to help.
>>
Just stack ant poison near your desk, it will deal with them. If you have bugs in your house that aren't spiders don't hesitate to go nuclear on them. There are a lot of tools to deal with these critters and you want to shut them down before you have an infestation on your hands.
>>
>>108602330
Theres ant species that love power/electricity.
I had the niggers in my PC, just wrap the shit tightly in a big trash bag and close the exit as much as you can, they will just die within 4/5 hours.
You might wanna take care of your yard and spray the holocaust things for bugs etc.

Interesting:
>If an ant is electrocuted, it can release an alarm pheromone upon death, which causes other ants to rush over and search for attackers. If a large enough number of ants gather, it may short out systems.
OP could have one in their monitor (backplate) that died and attracted them.

Ants absolutely swarmed my trash can and ate the cum and died from it. I'm surprised the cum killed them almost immediately. There were no dead ants around the trash can, only inside it.
>>
>>108604853
first thermal paste, now insecticide
is there anything cum can't do?
>>
>>108604466
I've seen a PS5 with a roach infestation and sweet smell of piss (which was the roaches), this mouse doesn't scare me as much as that.
>>
>>108604953
Idk, but I'm interested in exploring additional use cases. One interesting property is that it's like the inverse of a binary/two-component adhesive. With epoxy you mix two components to cure it. Cum consists of a coagulant and an anti-coagulant. When mixed into water the two liquids separate, causing the cum to coagulate into a rubber-like material. It's like this to prevent it from leaking out of a pussy. Some of it coagulates a little when exposed to the fluids inside. You could probably use cum as a bio-degradable non-toxic (except for ants) under-water glue.

This >>108604115 Also tons of ants species and insects in general love bright lights from your monitors and led lights and not only that, they also provide warmth which insects also love. Your monitor, tv, and PC if it has led lights are literal bug zappers without the zapper parts as in, they attract insects very easily so more like bug keepers. For tv's and monitors you could probably try dimming your screens especially at night maybe toning down the blue light(?) and in the early mornings. Open a window curtain/blinds or something during the day. Not a sure fire solution but probably could keep them detracted if there's other sources of light. You most likely have an in infestation somewhere else in your home or room or an opening in and around your home so definitely look out for that.

I had the same problem, for me it was sugar ants and carpet beetles but because I live with retards, I had no way to try to find and treat them until everyone is gone for most of the day and night so in the mean time I eventually bought an indoor bug zapper and that shit works wonders. Its usually 99.9% flying insects that get into your monitors/tv and PC. For me with the sugar ants, their wings were so tiny, I thought there crawling from the floor to my desk to my monitor until I took a good look with my phone camera and added to the fact that no ant bait or poison around the floor of my desk worked so more evidence its flying ants. So also saving you the trouble.

Funny enough CTR tv's and monitors had the same problem however the glass screens would shock them enough to keep them away.

Ants are attracted by heat and electromagnetic field. Back in the days, I used the degauss button to zap them to oblivion. This button was quite powerful, literally a blackhole for my TV antenna signals. I didn't even know why it was there. Just funny to push it.

The degauss button sets off an electromagnetic charge that fixes some damage caused to the picture with external magnets. I never knew there was a way to fix them till you said degauss and I looked it up. I grew up with cats and have never seen a degauss button.
