When I was about 7 I would freak out when my browser stopped responding while I was playing flash games, thinking I broke the computer.
I wish somebody explained to me what was going on so I knew I never did anything wrong.

on win10 i'll get it randomly for 4-6 seconds multiple times/day. i downloaded procmon64 (process monitor) from microsoft's website months ago. apparently it's a utility you can use to find everything running over time but i never actually got around to using it. i know it's not malware at least but i think that's the key to finding out what is causing the loading.
